OFF WITH A FLYING START

The journey towards defending the crowns won last year at all levels in the Inter Patrol Scout Competitions have just began.In the just concluded Kilindini District Scout Competitions, We (Bandari Scouts)represnted by Blue Six Patrol-Sungura, Shark Patrol-Chipukizi and Indian Ocean Patrol-Mwamba; emerged winners in all the three categories.Our teams, together with Mafuta Sea Scouts Mwamba Girls Patrol, and another Chipukizi Girls team shall be representing the District at the Coast Provincial Competitions that are due to be held between 15th and 19th of June in at a venue to be confirmed later.

Last year we emerged the best both nationally and at the Eastern Africa Zonal level.This means that we have to work even harder to ensure we maintain the good performance.With the Dream of representing the country at the zonal competitions in Morogoro Tanzania come December, the boys have the motivation they need and the leaders are committed to providing the best possible quality training in scouting and many other aspects of life.

KILINDINI DISTRICT SCOUTS COMPETITIONS 2011

This years inter patrol scout scout competitions for the Kilindini scouts Local association shall take place as from 8th to 11th April 2011 at the Miritini Scouts Centre, Mombasa.During the event there shall also be the 2nd Kilindini scouts Youth Forum, Preliminary Training Course for Scout Leaders, Patrol Leaders Training Course ong many other activities.

The KPA Scouts Unit; who are the defending champions shall be represented at the competitions by a Chipukizi, Mwamba and Rover Scout patrols. All scouts, parents, sponsors and Supporters of scouting are invited to participate.We look forward to seeing you at the event. Best wishes and good health as you prepare to come.
